Frequently asked questions
The short answer is generally no as the children are never in an all-Spanish environment. One teacher is English speaking and one teacher is Spanish speaking in each classroom, so they are never in a totally foreign environment. There is always someone there to explain in English if they don’t understand. Therefore they are able to gradually adjust to understanding and communicating in Spanish.
