FULL SPANISH IMMERSION
Our Pre-K class is a full Spanish immersion program. Your child will be exposed to a diverse curriculum in both English and Spanish. Spanish will become more comprehensive as your child begins to understand the language. Students will be guided through Spanish lessons that include hands on learning and games. Your child will begin to be able to start engaging in conversations and better understand the use of idioms. Spanish will become more comprehensive as your child develops a better understanding of the Spanish language.
INDEPENDENT LEARNING AND PROBLEM SOLVING
NO SPANISH EXPERIENCE OR FAMILY BACKGROUND REQUIRED TO BEGIN
Children do NOT need previous exposure to Spanish to participate in the immersion program. This is true for ALL our Spanish immersion programs. From 3 years old to 10 year olds, children pick up languages quickly, and can set the foundation for their lives.

INDEPENDENT LEARNING STATIONS

From petting zoos to magicians, farmers markets to entertainers, your child will be delighted by all the fun in-house “field trips” she or he will experience!

NOT AT ALL! Most of our parents aren’t bilingual – but many pick up many words and phrases from their children! So if you’ve ever wanted to learn Spanish, you get a little fringe benefit of having your child attend Courthouse Academy!
Actually, it’s the opposite – studies show that learning 2 languages at a young age creates new neural pathways in the brain, which has all sorts of benefits, including a greater ability to focus and task switching – both critical life skills that are a huge advantage in school and future work!
The younger you start with a second (or third!) language, the easier it will be for your child, and the greater the benefits.
This is an important question to ask of any preschool that you consider for your child’s education and development. Courthouse Academy is similar to “regular” preschool except that your child learns in both English and Spanish! We are dedicated to not only preparing your child for kindergarten, we prepare your child to start kindergarten ahead of the curve in both languages. Your child will have a strong academic foundation, develop social skills, develop gross and fine motor skills, all while learning the Spanish language.
