Elementary School
Kindergarten through 5th Grade
The elementary school at Courthouse Academy consists of small class sizes with two teachers. One teacher speaks English, and the other teacher speaks Spanish. Courthouse Academy strives to give all students the best education. Building on the Virginia Standards of Learning (SOL) the Courthouse Academy teachers can delve deeper into all subjects allowing the students to master the SOLs as well as be introduced to concepts on a much greater level all while being immersed in the Spanish language!

FULL SPANISH IMMERSION
All grade levels (1st through to 5th) are full Spanish immersion.

THE BILINGUAL ADVANTAGE
Bilingualism is a significant competitive advantage in both school AND later in life even with partial fluency. It has been proven to be a significant advantage to brain development (better focus and faster task switching). Also, it is a significant advantage when applying to colleges and job hunting afterward in every industry and field.

SMALL CLASS SIZES MAKE A HUGE IMPACT
We guarantee small class sizes. It's so critical to your child's education and learning that they receive personalized attention that small class sizes and teacher to student ratios are part of our mandate. We take education very seriously, and we want to ensure your child doesn't just have a bright future, but has every opportunity to get ahead of the curve.

ACADEMIC EXCELLENCE BEYOND THE BASICS
Courthouse Academy uses the Virginia Standards of Learning (SOL's) educational goals as a guideline for the school year. With the additional Spanish curriculum students experience at Courthouse Academy they will have a much fuller and more enriching education which will open doors in their future.

LOW STUDENT-TEACHER RATIOS AND SMALL CLASS SIZES
What they say about smaller class sizes is true – kids learn better, faster, and get far more personalized attention. That's why we offer smaller class sizes, which are much lower than most other private and all public options. This means your child will excel through much more individual attention from their teachers.
