CURRICULUM AT A GLANCE
INFANT
UNDER 12 MONTHS
Leaving your infant in our Courthouse Academy nursery means you are leaving your child in the hands of family. Your child will begin to develop into tiny little people reaching milestones while in our care. The teachers are warm and inviting and love singing to your child, reading and playing with them at tummy time, and giving them lots of snuggles throughout the day!
We do not disrupt the schedule you have at home; our infant teachers follow your schedule. Courthouse Academy is truly your baby’s home away from home!

Frequently asked questions
Yes, ensuring that every child in our care is safe we provide CPR and first aid training to all our staff. While many schools only provide training to a limited number of staff members we want to make sure that every classroom is equipped to handle illness and emergencies should they ever arise.
We know that often children can be selective with their food choices and may have sensitives or allergies to certain foods therefore, we do not provide food. When parents send in meals for their own children they are ensuring the food choices provided are foods that will be enjoyed and eaten!
Smile…because yes, we have cameras in all our classrooms! We also have cameras on our front door, playground and parking lot!
ABSOLUTELY! We understand that this is often a anxiety-producing time for parents but rest assured we will love, snuggle, cuddle, and fawn over your child just as much as you would at home!
At Courthouse Academy we understand the importance of education from the earliest stages of life. Children in infants and toddlers are exposed to art, music, books and tons of social interaction.
All day every day! Not only do our teachers clean and sanitize the rooms throughout the day we have a cleaning person on staff as well!
Infants and babies require attention, so we keep our student to teacher ratio low at 1 teacher to 4 for infants and young toddlers and a 5 to 1 ratio for older toddlers. . With our infant and toddler rooms being divided into 2 sections we have the added benefit of additional teachers within close proximity of the classroom if an extra helping hand is needed.
Yes! If your child needs medication for such things as teething or requires an Epi-pen we have you covered! We have many people in our school that are M.A.T.(Medication Administration Training) trained.
100% yes we do! Every single person that works at our school must pass a federal background check before they can even begin work.
We love to get to know all of our families and feel it is very important. Teachers are always available at drop off and pick-up as well as by phone. Infants and toddlers receive a daily information sheet and we use an App for communication.
